If you love boating, love the water, love learning, and would like to enjoy the camaraderie of the Annapolis Sail & Power Squadron, we would like to offer membership to you. We teach basic to advanced boating courses to our membership, have squadron cruises, raft-ups, and social events. Visit the member benefits page on the national website to learn more about what membership can mean for you. We meet at the Annapolis Lodge #622, 2 Pythian Drive, Edgewater, MD for delicious and engaging monthly dinner meetings.

If you wish to join for the first time, reinstate or transfer your membership to the Annapolis Sail & Power Squadron, our Membership Committee can assist you in the process.

Please contact Membership Chair, Lt Kay Himmelmann at
Or call 410-353-9967 for additional information.

For convenience, you can download a new membership form HERE.

Membership Merit Marks:
A "merit mark" (MM) is awarded by the chief commander to a member for substantial personal effort in furthering the interest, programs and objectives of America's Boating Club® and United States Power Squadrons®, its districts and squadrons. It is a coveted award; it is by and large the only official recognition members receive for their efforts. Only one merit mark may be awarded in a year to a member, no matter how extensive the contribution. Recommendations for a merit mark are made by squadron, district, rear and vice commanders to the chief commander. Active, family and apprentice members may be recommended. Five merit marks bring senior member status and 25 merit marks accord a member life membership, exempt from national dues.
