The Annapolis Sail and Power Squadron (AS&PS) will be at the October 2007 Sail and Power Boat Shows with our booth and back drop. The Sailboat show runs from 4-8, October 2007 and the Powerboat show runs from 11-14, October 2007 at the Annapolis City dock. The AS&PS booth is located behind the Annapolis Marriot Waterfront hotel facing Eastport and directly along Compromise Street.

The purpose of the AS&PS booth is reach out to the public and inform them of who we are and what we do. Members who staff this booth accomplish this mission by informing the public about:

AS&PS's focus on helping to increase the number of safe and aware boaters among both our members and the general public. AS&PS's civic participation including:

o Vessel Safety Checks
o Public Boating Courses which satisfy state and insurance requirements
o Safety awareness and information dissemination
o Cooperative Charting
AS&PS social activities, during the year, the club hosts or participates in many seasonal events where we gather for fun
Continuing education for members: 5 advanced grade and 6 elective courses
